Berdasarkan situs Guinness World Records, apel terberat di dunia adalah apel yang tumbuh dan dipetik oleh Chisato Iwasaki dari kebunnya di kota Hirosaki, Jepang, pada tanggal 24 oktober 2005. Berat apel tersebut adalah 1,849 kg.
